What are 3D Volume Extensions?
3D Volume is where we start moving into a fuller, fluffier lash look.
Instead of applying one extension to each natural lash, we create a fan using three ultra-fine lash fibres and apply that fan to one suitable natural lash.
This creates significantly more fullness and softness than a Classic or Double Velvet set.
So how are 3D Volume lashes different from Hybrid?

Because every suitable natural lash receives a Volume fan rather than alternating between singles and fans, the result is generally more consistent, full and fluffy.

The three-fibre fans create more visual density than Classic, Double Velvet or Hybrid sets.

Are 3D Volume extensions suitable for everyone?
Not every natural lash can support every type of extension.
I’ll assess your natural lash strength, length and density and choose an appropriate fan and extension weight.
The goal isn’t simply to make your lashes as full as possible.
It’s to create the fullest set your natural lashes can comfortably support.
Will 3D Volume extensions damage my natural lashes?
When professionally applied using appropriate extension weights, correct isolation and suitable fan sizes, Volume extensions can be designed to work safely with your natural lashes.
The individual fibres used for Volume are much finer than traditional Classic extensions, allowing multiple fibres to be combined into a lightweight fan.
Your natural lashes always come first.
How long do 3D Volume extensions last?
They follow your natural lash cycle.
As your natural lashes shed, the fans attached to them shed too.
Most clients will benefit from an infill around 2–3 weeks to maintain that full, fluffy appearance.
Do I have to wear mascara with 3D Volume extensions?
Absolutely not.
3D Volume already gives you the darkness, curl and fullness most people use mascara to create.

Are 3D Volume lashes good for a first appointment?
They can be!
If you already know that you love a fuller lash look, there’s no reason you have to start with Classics.
If you’re unsure, though, I’d rather start you slightly softer and build from there.
