What are 3D Hybrid Extensions?
3D Hybrid Eyelash Extensionslashes are where Classic and Volume meet.
A Hybrid set combines individual Classic extensions with 3D Volume fans.
A 3D fan contains three fine lash fibres that are fanned together and applied to one suitable natural lash.
The result is a beautiful combination of definition from the Classics and softness and fullness from the Volume fans.
It’s the perfect middle ground if you want more than a Classic or Double Velvet, but don’t want a completely full Volume set.
So how are 3D Hybrid lashes different from Volume?
The biggest difference is that Hybrid uses both techniques.
Classic: one extension per natural lash
3D Hybrid: Classic singles + 3D fans
3D Volume: 3D fans throughout the set
Because Hybrid combines singles and fans, it has more variation and texture through the lash line.

The 3D fans add more density than Classic or Double Velvet alone.
The individual Classic lashes keep the set defined, while the fans fill in the lash line and create softness.
Are 3D Hybrid extensions suitable for everyone?
Your natural lashes determine what we can safely create.
I’ll assess your natural lash density, strength, length and condition before choosing the appropriate extensions.
The ratio of Classic lashes to Volume fans can also be customised depending on the look we’re creating.
Will 3D Hybrid extensions damage my natural lashes?
When properly selected and applied, the extensions should be appropriate for your natural lashes.
Volume fans use finer fibres so that multiple lightweight fibres can be used together without simply tripling the weight of a traditional Classic extension.
Correct weight, isolation and placement are all important.
The goal is fullness without compromising your natural lashes.
How long do 3D Hybrid extensions last?
They follow your natural lash cycle.
When your natural lash sheds, the extension attached to it sheds too.
Most clients will benefit from an infill around 2–3 weeks to maintain that fresh, full appearance.
Do I have to wear mascara with 3D Hybrid extensions?
No!
3D Hybrid already gives you plenty of darkness, definition and fullness.
You can wake up looking put together without reaching for mascara.
